Rush Week

i see no point on joining frats. but then again, i view college as a time to learn instead of partying
I didn't realize that until it was too late and I was asked to leave. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

yeah, i hate the fact that other schools, mostly big schools, and movies give greek life a bad name. fraternities here are awesome, and most of the guys are really good guys. I want to join a fraternity for the benefits I can gain like brotherhood, as well as to be a part of major community service, and be part of a group that will help push me to do the best I can while still having a blast.

all of my friends in college were in delta sigma phi. they always tried to get me to join, i never did though.

they were a good bunch of guys, and i usually ended up doing all of their stuff with them, i helped with rush weeks, i went to their events, hell, i usually was part of their pledging process lol.

most of the pledges never knew i was not a brother until after they crossed over.

Fraternities = paying for overpriced friends
unless the fraternity is not in the 98 percentile of fraternities that are filled with c0ck fegs.
hahah x2

most of them are tools, they do sometimes have fun functions such as barn dances and shit, but im positive my friends party much harder.

Is there a black equivalent to fraternities? or are those the bloods and crips?

I don't know anything about college but from everything I have seen (think revenge of the nerds, animal house etc) they are mostly white.

I was in Sig Ep but I dropped due to pledging taking up too much of my time. I wasn't dedicated enough to be in one but I still hang out with some of my pledge brothers. You can do everything that fraternity brothers do w/o being in a frat...

Their are black/minority frats

I was in a frat in college. Wouldn't trade it for the world. Greeks get a lotta bad publicity, but for me, it would be the same thing as if I moved in with my friends. We didn't **** girls, we didn't brorape dudes, etc. Parties were awesome and there were always people to hang out with.

People in my frat helped me study as well. It's always good to have people older than you that have taken the same classes. I had access to old tests, homework, etc.

We have 2 or 3 black frats here.

Theres Phi Beta Sig and another one that i forgot.

Personally, I am a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa.

And I hate greek fegs.

So you'd rather have been in a frat and let the world blow up, killing everyone, including you, then have gone back in time, and said, "no thanks, I'll pass," to said fraternity?

That's awfully selfish, if you ask me.
