running two headunits?

Okay, I have a dilemma; I would like a nice double din but there are none out there that have half decent eq's. I am currently running a pioneer prs-80 and love it, however I still would really rather have a double din with navigation and such. So i noticed the PRS-80 has a rca input, so I began to wonder if maybe i could run a double din and link it to my prs-80 as pretty much a glorified eq and crossover. I just really don't know how this would effect sound quality or if it could potentially damage either unit. what do you guys think about all of this?

It would make a lot more sense to get a double DIN with the features you want and add a processor. A JBL MS-8 has a small display you can tuck away in the glove box, or maybe you can fit it somewhere in your center console. There are many other processors, but most of them require you to tune them with a laptop.
