running power wire

Hello,

I am about to be running my 0 gauge power wire in my 1998 jeep cherokee(4.0L inline 6), and I want to know what way would be better: running the power wire down through the frame rail and up into the back through an existing grommet, or run the power wire through the fire wall and under the carpet to the back?

Ive found it easier to run it through the firewall and under the carpet. Makes for a clean install with no worries about something happening. There should be a rubber grommet under the carpet on the firewall of the drivers side. You should just be able to make a small enough slit in it with a razor blade to fit it through to run it back under the carpet.

thats the exact grommet i was actually referring to, thats where my current wire is now. thanks man!
