ok so i have an newer Plate amp from a Klipsch Promedia 2.1 setup that is goign to be on sub duty until i can get my HT amp fixed or buy a new one. only problem is i cant get Klipsch to tell me if its 2 ohm stable. i ran it at 2 ohms for a little bit today with low power and it seemed fine, but id really prefer to not toast it. is there any way i can test it to find out if it will be safe? the output at 4ohms is only 75W and its going to be split between 2 ID8 D4 v3s.

well there isnt an actual model number on the amp. and the actual sub that was being run from the factory is 4 ohm. right now its powering 2 old pioneer cabinet speakers wired at 4 ohm on the sub channel and the factory satelites on the L and R channel. i usually have the "Sub" knob turned to about 25% and the volume knob ~50. but when i throw music on i set the sub knob to ~50%. ill see if i can pull the amp out of the cabinet tonite and get some decent pics.

i kno klipsch isnt cheap, i bought it. lol, but since my main home theater amp is blown(fan went out in the middle of a transformers 1,2 & 3 marathon...) im stuck using this in my livingroom. i was just wondering if there was a way to safely test the amp to see if it is stable at 2 ohms or lower. since ill be using 2 D4 subs i can run at 4 ohm or 2 ohm.
