Running 2 power cables

OK - I have 1 Polk Audio C500.1 Mono block amp for my 2 Polk MM2125 subs

And a Polk C400.4 4ch amp for my doors.

Can i run 2 separate wires or is there a piece that goes onto 1 wire and then breaks away into 2? Would splicing into the 1 cable make the 2 coming out less powerful? What is the 'name' of these pieces?

They make a distrobution block. They usualy are a big wire in and multiple smaller out. like 1 1/0 AWG to 2 4 Awg, they run for around $40. You could certainly run multiple runs, and I would assume it would help voltage drops a little.

Yeah, i was thinking running 2 full cables off the battery right to the amps in the back. But if i can get away with running just 1 and splicing into 2, that would be better.
