Rule of minium port diameter question

I use that lil minium port diameter tool think(I think it is on the 12volt but not sure) and it says the minium port diameter should be like 5.66 or something like that,so I figure u can have too lil port but what about to much?would 2 4" ports work,the sub I am talkin about is a 05 12" L5.Thanks for any help

Two 4 inch pvc pipes would be about perfect. You could get away with one if it was tuned very low but two would be just right if you have the space.
