98 olds cutlass, the place it got towed to doesnt fix camshafts and the guy i talked to was dumb

me "whats wrong with it then"

(he yells to someone for a min)

him "well basically your engine is junk"

me "how so?"

him "well i dont know, he said something about a camshaft"

so idk if thats the only problem and i have no idea how much that would cost

If the engine shit in a '98 then I'd say the car is probably not in good shape. Scrap it and buy something else.
