RSD's :/ What to get now?

Ok well i just had RSD's but i blew a tweeter(its all staticy). I figured i wouldnt get much for 70$ but i thought they would last longer than they did. I only had em for a month. I was giving them 90rms from a TH2120. Im looking for something fairly cheap that will keep up with my BASS. I can do this or i would like to know where i can get some nice tweeters to go with my speakers now. I would be happier with this option as itll cost less. Lmk what i should get. Thanks

If you only had them for a month, and the tweet blew, this would tell me I should figure out what I did wrong, so that it wont happen again next month with my new gear.. Tweets just dont blow themselves.. Gain control

You're obviously doing something wrong, i'm giving mine about 100rms each side, and i've had these for almost a year now. AudioSavings had a bad batch or something with the tweeters going bad.

I also know a few people giving them as much as 125-150rms/side..

Honeslty the Hifnoics Comps sound great and get very loud before they distort, and they can easily take you 90 watts. Go take a listen.

IIRC, a bunch of people who bought the PG RSD's from AudioSavings had a bunch of issues with the tweeters blowing.

Idk, but i have my gain set conservativly. I got mine from woofersetc.com Ill check if its a bad connections but i doubt it.

seems like the comp set has underrated mids and overrated tweets.

Nope connections were fine. Tweets ate shit. lol. Its only the right one tho. Ill change em out sometime. I love the mids tho.

Well im kinda liking the idea of upgrading tho. I would like it to get louder, and not have to worry about blowing the tweets if you get what im saying.
