Ahh. I thought you meant the whole router took off and hit the wall. Now that would have been funny //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .

Well, once you confirmed all your fingers were still there.

yea,,,,i would have been ****ed

but....i put the hight adjustment all the way down...and it tryed to drill the main router part into the board....like....

my 1/4" bit.....made a 2" hole... then it broke off.

scurry as ****

I tried using one hand with my router once and almost lost a finger. Never again...

ALWAYS make sure the bits are VERY secure because having a bit shoot out can be dangerous and potentially lethal.

How did the bit break off?

yeah, I did that once. the bit ended up wedged at a 45 degree angle under my mom's car's tire. I had to move the car to get the bit out.

and one time I launched a piece of MDF off the table saw into the garage wall.

lmao

the first time i used the router, the router bit caught in flame while making a circle on the mdf... whole garage was full of smoke and smelled like the burned mdf!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

was funny though

im glad im not the only one....and my step dad is a dick and wont let me in the garage at night.....(sundown) he thinks im going to sneak in there at night and start building things.....****ing retard.

That's hilarious but pretty decent for free-hand. If you want to sketch stuff like that, having a guide would be critical. It would also be easier to use a dremel at medium speeds as it wouldn't try to go off course as much and would be a little easier to control.
