Rotozip

To stay with the infomercial theme. I bought the drill doctor ( at wally world ) The drill doctor does actually work pretty freakin well for sharpening drill bits. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Shark vacuum and the Drill Doctor are the only ones I can think of that actually work decently off the top of my head ...
The Magic Bullet is ... meh ... My GF got one, used it a few times, just been sitting on the counter since ... I prefer my commercial blender ... 700 watts > 205 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Magic bullet = not big enough drink for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i actually own a rotozip and i use it all the time. and yeah its awesome for working with small odd shape cuts. not sure why ppl are hatin on it . if you using it to cut sub mounting holes in 1" thick mdf then yeah it probably blows balls but if you use it on stuff 1/2" and yes then its sweet. specially if you use the circle attachment.

ya im always up till 3-4 in the morning so i watch a lot of infomercials: total gym, bose surround sound, magic bullet, shark steam vacuum, rotozip, little giant ladder system, etc. i was really impressed by the shark. i like my things to be really clean and if i had one i might be motivated to clean, or burn people with it.

Speaking from what little experience I have with it, with the right bit, the rotozip was great at cutting circles with the circle guide attachment.

It almost burns through the wood when drilling but once you get through the wood, your basically good to go. They are pretty slow though and very, very, loud.

Better at cutting circles then a jig, imo.

And for the same money on either you can get a much better product locally...

Rotozips are extremely useful, just not for cutting mdf. Can you say uber slow!

hey, the magic bullet looks pretty awesome, im so buyin one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
lol, im actually asking for one of those as a graduation gift. they look pretty cool, no need for a big *** blender, just something that will work for some late night cooking/drinking.

is it sad that im asking for houehold appliances...

where did you guys buy your rotas at and how much?
I bought one of those kits at Home Depot for 150. It came with the jigsaw attachment, and circle cutter as well as another rotary attachment but I forget.

I ended up returning it not because it was bad but only because I needed it for this one time enclosure building project.
