Rockford Type Rfx7c Help

I believe it needs to be repaired. When I adjust gains, there is a surge of power that goes to my woofers. Then a loud humming noise until i disconnect speaker leads. Where can I get it fixed? The guy Rockford referred me to wanted 350 bucks! I can buy a new t1000 for that price.

Btw, it was pushing two power hx2 12s, dual 2 wired in series. Head unit is a alpine 7998.
