well right now im rockin a JL slash 1000/1 not by choice. was free being that my amp was stolen at the local toyota dealership when i took it in for a warranty recall and they said they could hook me up with whatever i wanted as long as it was a JL product because that's who their audio place delt with instead of making an insurance claim

in the process of building my custom box right now. had an audioenhancers 2 sealed 10's boxed of which i tore apart re paneled the front and back, fiberglassed the inside outside now just finishing the face then carpeting it and it will be done. my budget for sub only is about 250 and changed it from sealed to an aero port design

New-TC BASED would be the right way to think of it. It's not a TC-Lanzar collaboration, though (like the Adire Brahma/RE XXX, which were actually a collaboration between RE/Adire)

Like I said, you will not find a better SQL sub for the money. I don't even think it's worth looking elsewhere, unless you want to shop for a used sub. If so, check out El Weenie's Eclipse SW9152 in the classifieds for $200+shipping.

So the motor and baket is tc? That doesn't look like the 4hp

Yeah. It's a 3HP I believe. Basket from the 5400, motor from the Axis, soft parts are in-house. Something like that.

Another great thing about that sub...It's a sleeper if you mount it normally, and teh secks if you mount it inverted/plexi window //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no those were the only ones i have heard you guys say are some of the most untouchable subs as in all around performance. im open to new options currently running a 2cft box with an aero port to fit behind my seats in my double cab tacoma

i just helped a guy get a good sub rather than the t1 locally, he was so disappointed by the t1 he sold it for like 1/5 the price he bought it for a week earlier, i hooked him up with a fully loaded fi bl 15 and ran it off of a zapco 1100 and he just about shitt his pants

SA-15 will not out-perform the Opti (spl-wise) and costs the same.

I can give you more options, but you are selling yourself short lol. I'm trying to tell you that there aren't any better options. There are other options, but they aren't better. SA-15, FI Q, DC Lvl. 3, Boston SPG-555, MMats Dreadnaut/P3.0, PG RSDC (forgot to mention this, another great choice), custom PSI sub...My top 3 would be Opti, PG RSDC, custom PSI sub.
