I have a rockford Punch 40 amp, that i guess puts out about 300 watts. I am looking to upgrade my system, and i was wondering if this amp could handle 2 Kenwood KFC-W3005 12's? Do i have an adaquate amp? or is it time for it to go? thanks.....
is that 300W Rms power or max power. Anyway, i am doubting if you put that with those 2 12s, you wont be powering them fully. But only way for me to know that is, how much RMS/MAX power your subs can hold? Anything more than 300 you will need another amp. If those are your subs, i would look into gettin a bigger amp though. Just my 2 cents
I beleive it's 300 RMS. But, it's such an old amp that i am not sure. I had some kenwood 10's that couldn't handle the power and sounded like crap, that's why i decided to go with 12's.
