Rockford Power T2's any good?

How are these subs? I will be getting one for now, They are 1000 rms and 2000 peak. Im planning on taking on my friends Kick L7 with this sub. I will be using this amp.

Or do you think a JL W7 would be better? The JL is lower wattage though.

We're just doing a little bet who can setup the best system, only 1 sub is allowed. He was going to get a solo x 12" but I was like COME ON, THAT IS OVERKILL!

Who do you think would win? I hear the rockford Power series are pretty bad ***. But I also hear the JL Audio is just awsome at the same time. Rockford IS a best buy brand I guess... Sort of...

I haven't heard of anyone powering a sub with another sub.. Anyways it all depends on your setup.. Box is a big factor.. you can't just buy a Bestbuy box and expect to win just because you're pushing more power. Go with something better for the money
