Rockford Fosgate Type RF X7A 1500W Mono Amp ???

has anyone heard of the rockford fosgate type RF X7A 1500W Mono amp??? i saw it on ebay the other day and was confused because it looks like a sweet amp but i never heard of it... is it a new model or an old one??? looks new to me but its not on rockfords website... if anyone has any info and opinions in the amp please let me know!!!

The Type RF's were discontinued last year, however they were a step above the Power series (not the new ones). Think of the X7 as a BD1500 with a little more power and ran cooling.

i had one..liked it a lot, got stolen tho...went from a bd1500 to it, and noticed a bit of difference.

i have the shroud still if you want it..

thanks for the replies everyone... i have an alpine mrd-m1005 right now and i like it pretty good..im still thinkin about the rockford x7a....does anyone know how they would compare???

The X7 will spank the Alpine , my birthsheet says 1794 watts RMS .
