Rockford Fosgate T5002 and MRP-M500

Hey,

I have a Rockford Fosgate T5002 and an MRP-M500 that I would like to trade for a 1500-2000wrms mono block amplifier.

The Rockford is "rated" at 500rms at 2 ohms bridged, but will do around 1000-1100rms, these power series amps are extremely under rated. They are huge too. The T5002 has some paint scratched off the heat sink, the black plastic piece around the RCA Input and outputs is slightly bent, and the Remote power input bolt is stripped, but I have made a small hole for the remote wire to fit in, and it works awesome. Mechanically the amp works great, and I have installed 2 dual fans with square ports under the fans for extreme cooling. The fans also have bright blue LED's which look incredible at night! Don't have remote bass boost knob for T5002.

The MRP-M500 is pretty new and has a few scratches, but other than that it is a very strong little amplifier. Don't have a picture yet, because I have it in my buddies car.

Rockford Fosgate T5002:

75 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

150 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms (250 watts RMS x 2 at 1 ohm)

300 watts RMS x 1 in bridged mode (at 4 ohms)

500 watts RMS x 1 in bridged mode (at 2 ohms)

1-ohm stable (2-ohm stable in bridged mode)

CEA-2006 compliant

Tri-way capable (Tri-Way crossover required)

requires 1/0-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

variable high-/low-pass filters (40-400 Hz, switchable from 12 to 24 dB/octave)

Para-Punch bass EQ (0-18 dB with variable center frequency between 35-70 Hz) with wired remote control

MOSFET power supplies and outputs

MEHSA mounting technology increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET output devices to the heat sink, for higher power output, lower operating temperatures, and greater reliability.

TOPAZ noise-killing differential inputs eliminate 80% of ground loop noise between the head unit and the amp.

*****-ana circuitry keeps preamp signal clean

NOMAD advanced protection circuitry monitors temperature, voltage, current and impedence, and provides "intelligent" shut-down protection without limiting system performance.

fan cooled

preamp outputs for easy connection to a second amplifier

fuse rating: 100 amps

dimensions: 17-15/16"W x 2-11/16"H x 12-3/4"D

MRP-M500:

mono subwoofer car amplifier

300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)

variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz, 24 dB/octave)

variable bass boost (0-12 dB at 50 Hz)

subsonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave)

Class D amp with MOSFET power supply

CEA-2006 compliant

STAR Topology (minimizes internal noise and prevents ground interference)

speaker- and preamp-level inputs

gold-plated screw terminals

fuse rating: 30A x 2

8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

10-11/16"W x 2-7/16"H x 9-9/16"D

What are you looking to trade for and where are the pics of the alpine?
I am looking to trade for a nice amplifier. What do you have?

And the Alpine is currently in my buddies car, since I am not using it. I will get some pictures soon, it is in very good condition, other than maybe a few scratches.

Does the factory fan still work or is that why you installed the 2
I am pretty sure it still works, since it is under the black plastic piece I can't really see it, I would have to take the cover off and play the amp without the cover on. But in any matter one of the fans is straight over the large coil/inductor and the amp seems to stay pretty **** cool.
