I have a RF T0D215 wired to 1ohm and its being powered by a RF T1000-1bd the 09-10 model not the cp.

I know its only rated at 1000 watts rms, but from most birth sheets I have seen its should be putting out 1300+ rms at 1 ohm. I'm just wondering if it is safe to run this combo or am I gonna blow my speaker. The T0D215 is only rated for 800rms, but I read on the RF website that they underrate their sub just like their amp. I've just kept the gain turned down so far, as I'm kinda I'm gonna push the sub to hard.

It is in a sealed enclosure built to the specs in the manual. I have also heard that a sub in a sealed box can handle more power, but have not seen any real evidence of that. Just peoples opinion who may or may not know what they are talking about.

Any one had any experience to this sub?
