Rockford Fosgate Power HX2 vs RF Punch HX2's

Right now im running nine RF Punch hx2 15's...... It sounds great,& picks up the lowest of lows..... I've been buying up Power hx2's as an upgrade to replace the Punch subs... I have the power to do so,but after alot of reading,i'm not sure if this would be a good idea,being i only want a sealed enclosure.... Will the Power hx2s do well like the punch series in sealed boxes???? Is this worth doing? I don't want to dissappoint myself..

You could get rid of three subs, go ported and get louder and lower

The Power HX2 are 1000 watts RMS, but you can throw more to them. Like mentioned above, there gonna need more power on them.

Yes,i have the power available... Just want to make sure the upgrade is worth while being that im running a sealed setup

Also they get down right nasty on the low end! I'm running three 12" HX2 (RFR-3112) on a T30001BD. In the process of building a box for 6 and adding another T30001BD. I've ran them sealed before and they sounded great on the low notes, but I prefer ported box I built later, just personal preference. They are a hell of an upgrade. The Punch HX2 are nice..but the Power series are no joke. How many are you plan on running?

Plan on running 9 total,off 3 American Bass VFL 400.1's...Thanks bro!

I have 3 AB 500.1's as well,but everyone says the 400.1's would be more ideal

The only thing I would do is brace the box a little more. I think they need around 1.25 cubes a piece.
