Rockford Fosgate P3 15---Questions and Concerns

Hey Guys. So my Buddy has a rockford fosgate p3 15 inch sub. The sub doesnt really seem to be hitting the lows and we tried multiple amps. Has anybody had any experience with this sub?

I have a rockford t1000-1bd in my room that works good as new, I might hook that up to it and see how it sounds. If not could it be the box or does the 15 p3 just not a very nice sub.

Anybody have any reviews on this sub?

Well, its by no means a great sub, but its not a bad sub. Likely a box issue, especially if your BD doesnt get it going

your box play a HUGE part. if you want lows, tune it low. also, like said above, not a great sub

Box too small would be my first guess.

we are running p315's in our rockford demo vehicle that we built and it has no problems hitting low notes. but then again we are running 24 of them. here is a video from yesterday
