3 15"s in 12 cubes or 4 15"s in 13 cubes?

Working on the new box for my daily driver install and im stuck at this point. Heres what i have going on.

Ive got a choice to do 3 15"s in 12cf net, on about 1500w, or i can do 4 15"s in 12cf net on about 2000w. Thats 1cf less space per sub, but one sub added, and more power. Im not sure if id get better output with more box area per sub, or more cone area altogether.

can you get adequate port area in both cases? As long as the port scales up in size for the extra sub I'd put my money on the added sub+power, mostly the extra sub tbh.

Oh yea i can get plenty of port area, i actually figured out a new design today where i can get 3.5 per sub either way, so itll all work out.
