Just thought I would share a story with you guys. I have an old school Punch 500a2 that I just installed into my jeep rated 500@4Ohm. I was hurrying my install because I wanted to hear my new 18 (Stereo Integrity HT18, bangs by the way). Well I got it all installed and it sounded pretty good, I picked up my buddy so he could hear it. As we were driving the amp turned off, I reached back and touched it and it burned the **** out of my hand after touching it for just a second. When I got home I realized I had the amp bridged at 1 ohm instead of 4. Fosgate amps can take a serious ******* beating. Just thought I would share that with you guys haha. I love these old school Fosgate amps, they seem to last forever.
