I need help, ok so it's a new to me RF amp, I have my 2 subs wired to 2ohm final load, I re checked the ohm load the terminals. It all checks off!

When I first turn the amp on, at the HU, the Protect light goes bright red and then it dims and stays dimmed! The amp plays fine and sounds great but the light remains dimmed.

Is there an issue inside this amp? Why is that light on? Shouldn't it be completely off? Or is this normal? Btw it does have a power on red light at the top..

Might just be the light bleeding in from the other light making it look like that. If it works with no issue than no problems

Thanks for your response,

I also thought it was that, I stuck my finger in carefully, to creat a shadow and same thing.. Called RF and they said if it don't cut out or stop.. Keep playing it.. I'd still like to know if anyone has possibly encountered this issue before.
