rockford amps

i have heard these are underrated from the factory. that they really put out more watts than they say they do. anybody know if this is true or false?

True, There new ones put out a little more power, but the older ones are way underrated

i hoep that'd change when I upgrade my stuff to different brands... will probably got for a no-brand amp and some quality subs and components.

yes i think the same way a little while back they used to be a pretty good deal but now they have turned into something like a JL audio. there products are great but they are trying to sucker in all of those teens like me who dont know shit about car audio yet have seen those rockford stickers other peoples cars and are like **** thats freiken awsome. so now i think you are paying for the name. but dont get me wrong they make qaulity stuff.

i've no idea what you're powering, but that amp can produce quite a punch... better ask twice about wiring your speakers, else they MIGHT just blow...
