To those recommending Saliva, please speak up and tell me if you have actually listened to their latest album? I went out on a limb and picked up A Bloodstained Love Story at Best Buy about a week ago. That song "Ladies and Gentlemen" you hear on the radio so often? - It's the only **** song on the CD worth listening to! Unless of course you're into cookie cutter hard rock love songs. Very pathetic attempt IMO.
However, "Ladies and Gentlemen" is indeed a great song. Since the rest of the album is trash and not worth buying, just get it off Itunes for $.99 or pirate the MP3.

Tonight I'm going out on a limb again and picking up Within Temptation - Mother Earth. A lot of metal heads seem to complain that it's too slow and more like an Opera than metal. Sounds perfect.
On a similar not, I can't wait for Virgin Black - Mezzo Forte to be released. Won't be long now.

And for the record, Nickelfag and the like are not, and will never be, metal. They are mainstream rock. They aren't even rock, IMO. Rock music should be more than the same recycled garbage over and over again. Nickelback has MASTERED that concept, and Crossfade and Hinder are on their way to it.
Good metal/rock includes, Chimaira, Lamb Of God, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, In Flames, Unearth, Stabbing Westward, Slayer, Pantera, Megadeth, Amon Amarth, Goat*****, Fear Factory, Silent Civilian, Nothingface, DevilDriver.
Listen to real rock, not cawk rock.

But seriously though, anyone who listens to Nickelback or Hinder and think that it's rock needs to castrate themselves with a dull rusty spoon. The only song that Nickelback ever made that was halfway decent was Leader of Men, and that song was more like watered down Clutch than anything else. Hinder, their lead singer is gay. Simple as that. Look at his mannerisms, his voice, the way he acts. He's not in it for the puss, that's for sure.
