i was just surfing ebay, and found these, coupled with A\D\S xovers... seeing the A\D\S makes me wonder if these are actually that good. ive never heard of them but who knows.

um.. werent they called the "RU6 Bender mids" i kinda thought that "RU" stood for robotunderground... and that they are trying to sell them on ebay to get their busness started.

who knows... just thought it was weird because ADS is some good stuff right?

oh you might be right then, I didnt make the connection between RU and robot underground.

I've seen their products on there. Yes, RU sells speakers under their own name. I haven't played with them at all. Tempted too, but haven't yet.

seems a pretty fair price for ADS xovers and the mids\tweets... i dunno, they got LOTS of cool stuff in their EBAY store, ill tell ya that much.

im tempted to buy a bare PCB for a PPI amp and try and build it myself TBH...

I wouldn't mark them off as total shit. Obviously they don't make their own speakers, they are probably taking a "generic" "off-the-shelf" speaker and selling it as theirs (like what soundsplinter is doing with TCSounds subs).

RU bought a BUNCH of stuff during the ADST sell off a couple of years ago. he made his business by selling the stuff on ebay, and has sold alot of good stuff over time (I've bought from him before).

That being said, I haven't heard or used his put together comp sets.

hmm strange.

now if only he had the BOM for those PPI amp PCB's, i could make my own PC6800 amp... mmm 25" of pure power.

i still may buy one for shits and giggles, see if i can get it to work.
