I have one vid..but the whole entire vid sounds like shit because of the digi cam..

Have you taken the sub out yet?

This will tell you if it is a box problem, or a sub issue.

Mine sounds great. It also made an odd noise at first, but I took it out of the box and found out it was a box problem. Seems like I had a the mounting hole to small.

if its too small it might not seat properly also.

Nope, if the mounting hole is too small. It will not let the sub fit tight up against the box, so you will have air leaks or just vibration. I took it out made the hole a little bigger and sound went away.

play it free air, if you still hear it, its the sub, and needs a recone. i haa problem like that with a xxx and i got it reconed and was fine for a week and it started again so i sold that bish and got my audioque

People were saying it's because of BBE, turned that off and it's still happening. Guess I'll free air it tom.

I took it out of the box and free air-ed it. When I held it up, so it wasnt touching anything..it sounded pretty good. Just like..alot quieter and different.
