RL-p or SX... 15IN PORTED

i dont know which one to get.... will they get as loud as a 15in XXX in the proper enclosure? each sub will get its recommended space with tuning of about 34? i want to sacrifice SQ for SPL... not that much though.. 70spl/30sq, yes i did a search and i'd like up to date opinions so if anyone has any info that'd be great, thanks. btw the sub will get around 1000wrms or more... im considering the revo 1500.1 in the classifieds, i'd also consider getting another yellow top which he is selling... i have the same one and i think getting another will help in voltage drops.. btw my amp is stock 110 amp with big3

well let me put it to you this way. Its REALLY all dependant on your install as you'll here msot of us say on here. The SX 15 is going to be **** loud. But the RL-S is more of a SQ driver. The RL-s isnt really engineering for SPL, but it can be done. Basically from what your asking the SX sounds like your driver. Not to mention its going to be cheaper for you. But either of them in the right enclousre and you'll be happy though. I actaully think you'd be happier with a Havoc 15. I've been talking with chad about these and this is your driver buddy. Its going to be incredible. I am AMAZED, ABSOLUTLY AMAZED at the Assasin line. I ahve 2 of the 12's and OMG, i cannot believe the output. Ascendant is just awesome. BEST budget system I've ever heard bar none.

thanks for the input guys, appreciate it, the havoc is a little out of my price range though... im in the 200 range, the sub is going in a trunk too not a hatch or SUV... so im gonna loose output. will the SX in the proper enclosure get louder than a XXX? not sound better but louder? thanks again guys

Watt for watt in the same enclousre. The SX is louder than the XXX, due to efficiency. However your XXX is not going to peak like the SX around tuning because of the BL differences. The $200 price range is good, but I'd check out some other thigs too. You might be happy with a Magnum? I've noitced similiar sounds from Magnum 15's and SX 15's. All that tight suspension and BL. Let us know what you decide to go with, but check out maybe an Arsenal 15?

hmmm i never thought the SX would get louder than the XXX... im kind of learning toward the SX now since i had an XXX and it was loud as hell... i cant afford a mag though and isn't the arsenal SQL oriented? it has a pretty high price tag aswell, i see people selling SX's for around 200~ in the classifieds...
