from my dealings with it from the test session.. 800 watts would be the upper limit for me for heavy bass material...

probably get by with 1.1 kw or so if you're not a crackhead..

well the difference in output between 500 watts and 800 watts is probably less than a decibel, which means it's inaudible anyway. Set your gains right and you'll be fine.
