Ok how much power can one handle in a box that is 0.26cubes and ported too 31hz and 16cu inch of vent area?

thier site says " ability to handle up to 500 watts of continuous input power" soo in theory i could use my 2200 with the gains set low to power 4 or 5 correct?

EDIT: nevermind they wont have any until september and they changed the specs...so i guess no one will know until september...emails make me sad

im running 900w to my pair, each has it's own 0.25 cube net sealed enclosure

okok so, can 4-5 8s each with their own ported box be louder than 2 12s? given they are fed basically the same amount of power

cuz im thinking...2 12s? everyone on the planet has 2 12s.....5 8s by a company no one around here has heard of...and its loud as all poop....the shock factor alone is worth it...maybe ill take the back seat out and do a wall of 8s haha

4-5 rli 8s will be spendy. If you really want that wow factor get RE8s instead. Then you will only have to send them half the power and wont need to upgrade electrical. If you are wondering about their sound, theyre almost perfect in a sealed box. I have one in a sealed box at about .30 cu ft and its one of the nicest music blending subs.

If you really want that wow factor get RE8s instead.

I would nix the RE 8 idea if SQ was a concern...reading the results of the Great 8 Challenge over on SIN, the RE 8 received a dismal SQ score. They get loud, yes (having listened to Loyd's 8" wall I can testify to that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif ) but they won't be my choice for a setup where good SQ is a high priority. At least IMO.

Have you considered Crystal CMP 8's?

to be honest i dont know of many 8" subs, suggestions are welcome, i still need to raise up the money to get these bad boys so waiting until sept. isnt that bad of a deal but if there is something better then my ears are open

I would give the Crystals a look...IIRC, they're in the $90 range, little cheaper than the RL-i's but more expensive than the RE's.
