Walmart has 4gauge kit for $30 could have bought two of those for less than the one you bought. Then again I dont know what size wire you got.

yea they are a rip off and dont really have anything good, and the best part is they dont ever want to let you listen to anything either, just buy it.

btw, you could have gotten same stuff from a local shop for like 30$ or even walmart..

I got my kit from walmart, it was around the 30 dollar range like everyone else has said. Works just fine for me =P

watch out for ur remote wire on the wal-mart kit. Sometimes the wire has a short with the scoche kits. I've ran into that problem a couple of times with my friends cars. Probably my bad luck and just picked up defective kits

its pretty rare to have defective wire... usually its the installer if anything...

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how you can have a defective REM wire....unless the insulation was like falling off or something. Only thing IMO to really be careful of are the low quality RCA's......and no, not for sonic reasons. Some of them seem to be built rather poorly and have problems with the connectors coming loose and coming off or disconnecting and such.
