If you knew how fragile our country is to being destroyed, you would opt for the more conventional way out too. There's some crazy shit about our country that's documented and would scare the shit out of you depending on whether or not you actually believe the stories, and just about every country would be on our ***** if we were to just drop a nuke. Stop trying to make politics sound simple.
P.S. While I think Bush has done the right thing by not dropping nukes, all and all, he has done a terrible job with the reconstruction. He has stated that he isn't in favor of trying to use our troops to form government. Why are we there in the first place then? If anybody but Kerry had won the democratic primary I would have voted for them, but since they didn't win and New Jersey isn't really a swing state, my vote goes towards Nader. I would encourage anybody who isn't in favor of Bush and isn't in a swing state, I.E. California, Montana, Idaho, the south excluding Florida, and New York to do the same. We must do something to destroy the bipartisanship that has plagued our country far too long now!
P.S.S. The electoral college has to go too, but that's untouchable, so I'm not even going to go there.
P.S.S.S. Congradulations to the Iraqi soccer team for qualifying to make the Olympics. It could be a major step in recovering from the tyrannous gubernatorial rule they were under for quite some time.

This country was founded by men willing to fight for their rights, freedoms, and protection. Why stop now? All the negative stuff is just what happens when your the most powerful country in the world not to mention a free nation. What could be more Beautiful then that? I sure as hell am not willing to lay over just to make everyone feel better. The Americans and others dieing for our freedoms is tragic, but for you blaming the US government for that dont forget that these people joined the service on their own free will and wernt forced as like other countries. If I were drafted I would be honered to go to war whatever it be for my country. Whatever American man feels differently doesn't deserve American freedoms.

if i believe that we are at war for the wrong reasons then i have the right and freedom of choice to say no. the rights that we as americans have should not be put into "american rights". they are rights afforded to every single HUMAN BEING. it doesnt matter if you live in a "free" country. they should be basic human rights. i have said this before in other threads. gay rights, womens rights and every other group that has enough money to lobby washington have taken away the very meaning of these so called rights. its HUMAN RIGHTS that matter. nothing more nothing less. whenever you have groups take away rights in favor of themselves that starts the downward spiral. no one group is better than anyone else. period. we have torn our country apart in an attempt to make it more equal. things have went overboard. my right as a human being is to decide what i think is right and wrong. if i think something is wrong why should i have to suffer for it by having other rights such as freedom taken away from me. you must be one of those patriotic poeple that i talked about in my earlier response to this thread. its so funny sometimes how people let themselves get so brainwashed into thinking they are better than the next guy just because they wrap themselves in the american flag and say "im right because im patriotic". what bull
