RIP My 97 Eclipse and equip :(

Well, finally got my system all tuned and hittin nice and guess what happends. I get t-boned 30 min later. So my eclipse is totaled and some of my brand new audio equipment was ruined. On top of that the accident was my fault according to the cops b/c I failed to yield, and he also gave me a ticket for having blad tired to, how nice. So im probably going to loose my license for 30-90days now. Basically I have shit luck, **** it. I dont even know what to do or think right now. As for equipment my box that i just built last weekend and my brand new Fi Q are hurtin. The sub looks like its in alright condition besides for the fact that the basket has a crack on it and the surround has a small tear in it...Would I be able to get this fixed or am I screwed? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

from what i here about FI's customer service, you should be able to get it fixed, either free, or cheap. i dont know for sure though, just thinkin

Try to find reciepts for as much stuff as you can. And try to get new recioets if you can't find yours. That way, you can prove to the ins. company what they need to pay for.

I'd imagine that since he is 18 and driving a 10 year old car, he probably only has PLPD on it. Hopefully I am wrong, but if not, sucks to hear.

Full coverage costs more. The younger you are, the less money you have/make. And since you have an older car, it wouldn't be worth it to pay the extra in full coverage because eventually, the costs would exceed the value of the car (well maybe).

Yeah...Why would Fi fix a sub that was ruined to no fault of them. Their prices are more than reasonamble. This kid will have to pay just like everyone else.

and about fi fixing it for free... What are you smoking man i mean really? Is it Fi's fault the kid pulled out in front of somebody. You can get the sub reconed. But im sure your gonna have to pay for it....
