Yep, you can have too large of an exhaust. Exhaust gas velocity is important for a few reasons.

There's not much room for kick panels in a rex, if that's what you mean.

Na, the door panels are fine, except they would have been better off with a single set of mids instead two... what I really don't like is the goofy amplifier/cap/battery install which flaunts the gear in a tasteless manner...

OP removed the pics, so I cant verify... but I was thinking the mids were two different sizes, which I assumed meant one pair was midbass, and one was midrange. I generally prefer more equalized path lengths for midrange, but in some cars you just cant get much cone area in the kicks. CRX's are one of those types of cars.

I agree the rear portion of the install is gaudy. I can respect the work gone into it, but Ive never liked the look of simply filling the entire rear of a vehicle with one huge fiberglass panel.

They were both mids for sure. One was like an 8" and the other was a 6.5" or something like that.

Not sure what you mean by they were both 'mids'. You mean midrange, as in two different speaker sizes playing the same freqs? If so, yeah that's not a good plan.
