rf x7 going into protect/buzzing

well i figured i'd be safe buying on ebay for once seeming how the person had quite a bit of positive feedback. the amp arrived into my hands last night went down to my buddy that owns the local audio shop and we put it onto the test bench and powered it up it goes into protect mode and also makes a buzzing noise when powered up anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? and if it can be repaired? i'm planning on sending it into my local repair shop or shipping it out to kb on monday...

oh i bought one of those from a comapny and its a good amp how much did you get your for is it the one with the chrome body

i paid 320 for a paperweight seems like a good amp from what i hear and it matched my x3 perfectly. its not the chrome its silverish with blue plastics....

i had the same one with the blue plastic on top bought it for 250 and sold it for 300 to my uncle because at that time i needed the money and didnt have a sub how much did it test out on the birth sheet

the one i had tested at 1690 i have never hooked it up do but when i bought it was bnib so i wasnt worried about it
