RF T1000-1bdCP VS AB VFL 100.1

So I have it narrowed down to two. The RF amp is used, the AB is brand new. Both about the same price. Both have more than enough power for my single 10w6v3. So far here is my pro/con list:

RF Pro - Higher end model from a brand I trust, value for the $ (since its used), slightly more RMS power @2ohm vs the AB (not really an issue since both are above the subs RMS rating), LOVE the look.

AB Pro - Brand new, flexibility if I add a 2nd sub in the future (does much more power @1ohm than the RF), warranty, would be purchasing from authorized dealer, like the look, fuses on board.

RF Con - Used (risk in purchase), no warranty or dealer support, needs an external fuse (nitpicking here).

AB Con - Unknown brand to me (although much less on an issue with research and poster support of the brand here)

After writing it down cons are pretty thin on the AB. Can I assume that the RF is a higher quality amp overall? Costs about double new, but that does not always mean everything.

Any other thoughts on these two amps or pros/cons I can add to the list? Told you guys I am OCD...

Ok I'm done torturing myself, going with the AB VFL 100.1 and the AB VFL 150.4 to replace the Soundstream STL4.500 I currently have for the rest of my speakers. That should satisfy my OCD for now!

I think you will be more than happy with your choices sir.Great amps for the money

I would most deff want to hear some feedback on the amps chosen.Especially when you swap out the SS with the AB on front stage and hear the difference
Absolutely, I have a tentative date of April 17th for my installer to swap out the amps and sub, I will need his help to set the gains with this much power. I will place the order on the 10th with Mylows10, hoping that's enough time to get them to me by 16th so I can confirm for the 17th. I can't wait!

I think you will be very pleased with the outcome of those amps.I have been pleased with mine thus far.Great amps.Jim will deff take care of you.He took care of me and shipped very quickly on my amps that I purchased, and also dealt with him on other occasions.Excellent guy to deal with and straight up.Im sure he will get those amps out as soon as they are paid for. He doesnt mess around on getting your items to you as soon as he can.I think I got mine in like 3 or 4 days from Cali to Tx on my door step, and he checked with me to make sure I got them in great condition and was pleased also.

I was able to get the install moved up to the 13th, amps should be here tomorrow. I am going to have them dissconnect the dash speakers and later on I will buy some good components for the front stage, the Kicker 6x9 3 way's in the front doors will have to do for now. Should still sound pretty decent with these amps! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
