I think it's the '01-'03 model... I'm not totally sure, but the question is... are they really 1ohm stable, because it seems I was running my subs at 1ohm afterall, and that amp held up almost 2 years, until I think I actually shorted it, not sure.

Anyone have experience that can say?

I've used a few of them... great amps!... always ran them at 1ohm without problems.

What would that amp be expected to put out at 1ohm?

I think the spec being 500wrms @ 4ohm

i don't think those are 1 ohm stable.. but people run them daily at 1 ohm with no problems

They are 2ohm stable....but with my stock electrical it handled 1ohm just fine. it just gets hot.
