RF fanatic-X any good??

If i got and older fanatic x version for around 50$ would that be a good deal. Ive never heard any and was wondering what they are worth and how good they sound

Hmm, i neglected your cost factor. I guess you've nothing to lose. They aren't terrible, and my comps can get quite loud before it distorts. Tweeters are WAY too sharp though.

i was impressed w/ the low end and mid bass of the fosgates......however the tweet was a tad harsh for my tastes......now if i could combine the alpine type r's tweet w/ the fosgate mid....that'd be nice....heh.....or i could jus get the koda's......sounds like u got a good deal...hope ulike them....

the fanatic q's are the top end, thats why I bought two pair, they have a much warmer sound than the MB Quarts and dont cost anywhere near as much
