I doubt there is enough power difference to be audible. Better components?? That is doubtful also. They use the same components as any other Memphis amp. I think they are both great amps but I see no reason to spend more on a Memphis amp.

If size is a factor, then sure the Belle is a better choice.

I disagree with j31 here, but in this instance, I would chose the memphis.

I'm not saying it uses better components than other Memphis amps. The memphis does more power, simple as that, worth the extra money.

well I can't say much here but if the rf is cheaper and the subs and comps match the rms then why not save so money?? R.F and memphis bell are grate SOLID amps.

if you have the money, go memphis. if you're tryna save cash, hit up the RF.

i metered when i ran my Memphis 1000.. simply curiosity.

As far as power goes, Put them both on the bench and you may find that the Rockford matches or beats Memphis. Again, Both are obviously great amps. Just comes down to personal preference really.

Right now I'm kinda leaning towards the Rockford mainly because of the money issue. Out of my tax return I'm going to be buying new equiptment to upgrade my system. I'm still going to look around for better prices. But as of right now, I can get the Rockford for $150 less, so that's what I'm leaning towards now.

*Edit: Also, size is not really that much of an issue. I'm going to be building a forward facing box through my fold down seats, and then making a false back to my trunk to mount the amp. I'll have plenty of room on there.

I looked it up, but it won't give me the power for the sub channel that I need, and the sub channel is not 1 ohm stable.
