Reviews on the Directed 1100d

Well I did trade and man, This MOFO is no joke!!!!!!!!! I had this amp b4 but sold it to him 4 $200. To me, it's doing better than the boss 3500.1!!! Does anybody know where I can another 1100d for a reasonable price???

I wonder the same Civic Boi. I've been trying to find a 1100D for my SX and had no luck... Ikesound used to sell them for crazy cheap like 130$ but no more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

not too sure. never used an orion. the only thing ive heard that is different with the orions from the rest of the directed amps are the beefed up power supplies. everything else is the same.

sorry I should have mention that I have a 2400D DEI amp not an Orion2500D...my mistake.

i just got rid of my viper d1200.1 and replaced it with the ppi pc2350. much better. the viper was ok, and let me stress OK. better than some, but i have to say, it didn't get really hot. the snakes head cover and the viper badge on the front rattled seriously and had to be taped on with double sided tape.

I paid $ 118 for it when I first bought it. But it is a refurb. Played flawlessly. Imma try to find 1 one more and strap them 2gether. What kind of power supply would I need 2 to keep my volts right??? I got a capacitor and a 2nd battery 760cca. Any ideas???

Yea, I got lucky when I found it. I called around to local car audio shops to get the low down on the amp. I had the choice of getting the directed 1100d or the precision 500.1 for the same price. The guy said the directed would do better @ the time. It played 2 CVR dual 4's, then 2 flame Q's 12's, then 3 CVR 12s, then 2 L7 12s, then 4 cvrs, now back to 2 L7s. Its the truth!!!!!!!!!!
