I don't know how it works with having an amp rated for higher power than the subs

you need something do do 500-600 rms of clean power

JL 500/1 will work good and it will match

If it's a dual 4's I have a Crossfire CFA602 that would be perfect.

Finally got a chance to pull them out.

They're dual voice coil 4 ohm. wired down to 2.

I run these same subs, on a pioneer GM-7300M they are underpowered but this amp will PUSH these subs in a sealed box hard. My car is heard from blocks away, no distortion just clean, full, vibratious bass. ha.
