Run it ported for best output.

I have seen some Cadence and Hifonics amps are good buys for this sub.

I have an SE12(d4) and i run an Alpine mrp850 and it LOVES it, i think you can pick one up for ~200 but ALMOST any amp that will put out 600~900 rms and youll be golden

awesome amp!!! tried to get one but didnt

im running my RE SE/x off of a 1000 watt Diamond D3, AWESOME AMP!!!!! never got remotely hot at all, and pushes the sub perfectly with the gain only about an eights of the way up and thats with the bass boost off!!!

i also paid only 182 for the amp!!! AMAZING!!

You can get a used aq1200d in classifieds for 180-200 in good condition, which isn't much more than a hifonics...
