So...we're getting ready for the Scion Show with Team Toxic Bass - Gil's

XB. The Plan: 2 hard hitting 12's and a powerful amp for BASS RACE yet will look good also.The mission: 2 MX 12's and small amps due to

limited space. 2 Alpine PDX 1.1000's that Alpine claims to produce 1000

watts rms and with the true ouput of 1500 watts. Results...the **** fuses

keeps on popping left and right after we full tilt the amps. Ok...so we

adjusted the amp sensitivity...and after 4 calls to Alpine's technical

support and all of my headaches....I gave up. Screw it. Don't get me

wrong...the amps are good to a certain volume...but they can't take the

abuse. SOLUTION: US Amps AX3000DE which is also one of the strongest

amps I've ever tested. I will post the entire test results after this

not much of a fan of the car, but the install is freakin hot.

oh btw... how would you compare these new AX3000DE's to last years? i saw the little fiasco on Sound Domain couple months back about the older 3000DE's

The 6" port is a Lightning Audio Aeroport. It's too bad they no longer make it. I'm in the process of manufacturing ports...hopefully it'll be completed in the near future.

The AX3000DE is by far one to one test the strongest amp I've ever tested. We never new this until 2 weeks ago. Reason....nobody knew how to properly hook up the amp. Greg (US Amps tech) came by the shop and we literally stayed until 3:00 in the morning to figure out what was the issue. As soon as we got it right...it was purely INSANE. Greg and the US Amps team just completed the strapping module and I'll be meeting up with Greg tonight and test it full tilt. I'll have results very soon. Scion xB's are actually good cars for the price. Come on, a toyota for 14k iwth lots of features andfree tires for life!!! ugly, sure, slow, deffenitly. But they would also make a great SPL vehicle and would fit in most trailers and get better MPG if you have to drive it. 4 15's walled in an xB FTW!!

Kyle from Team Pioneer took world finals in extreme 2 last year...well only because Roger from Team XS-SPL had problems with his vehicle...but they're **** loud vehicles either way.
