Yeah I heard the horror part is completely gone and it kind of sucks. Sad because RE 4 was awesome. I think RE 4 may have even trumped the experience of playing RE 1.

Even at 13 RE 1 creeped me out pretty good.

if you liked 4 you should like 5, pretty similar just without the wii controls, which they should have had the 6axis as part of the controls (reload maybe). if you think about how much Resident evil changed from RE3:Nemesis (ps1) or code veronica (dreamcast) to RE4 they didnt change that much from 4 to 5, ive liked every resident evil except the PS1 1st person RE survivor series

Picked up mine last night. Graphics are sweet. Story line seems similar to that of RE 4. I like it.

re 4 and 5 are very different from the original re games, they may not have the jump out at u unexpectedly scares anymore but its a different kind of horror, its not so much being in the dark and one guy jumps out at u, it has moved onto the fact you can have 20-30 guys swarming u coming through every window and door, its still a horror game but the originals are more of a thriller/horror. Anyway i got it for the ps3 yesterday and love it, my psn id is MikeMad7888 if any fellow ps3'ers want to play
