resen and hardener

Can somebody tell me how much hardener to mix with resen.

The box says 7 drops a table spoon but the stuff hardens in like 5 min. I think I'm do'ing everything wrong.

The stuff hardens in 5 minutes. That's normal. You can reduce the hardener a little, but if you go too far it won't harden at all.

It's for a ported sub box in weel well.

Seven drops for a cup.....you have to define 'cup.' The stuff I use recommends 12-14 drops per ounce.

Also, get a dropper so you know you're using exactly a drop.

wow what kind of resin and hardiner do you guys use. For a small 9 oz. cup i use about 50 - 70 drops ( depending on the weather ). it usually takes around 5 - 7 minutes to harden.. again depending on how hot it is outside.

I use the plain All-Purpose Fiberglass Resin from Home Depot....
