RE's not answering the phone

Would anyone happen to know why Resonant Engineering is not answering the phone? I also wonder why a company like RE would not have voicemail or some other means to leave them a message?? Just making me question the level of customer service I can expect?

because it is 8am there, and they aren't at work yet? If you called yesterday too, it probably was a holiday for them....

RE's service is usually decent, once you get ahold of them.

Sometimes thats the hard part, getting ahold of someone.

Where I come from 8 am IS the start of the day. What time do they normally arrive??

Where do you "come from"? The majority of businesses open at 9am.....

Ive always had the best luck calling them at around 1-3pm, THEIR TIME.

they never answer for the phone for me either.. takes a few days of calling from 12-5

You would think they could hire a receptionist, or a couple people to deal with the phone......

This question has been asked before, the reason given was along the lines of: the receptionist wouldnt be able to provide specific information, so it would just make more work for the regular workers to have to call people back.

I come from the world of everyday life in the corporate world. Why do you ask such an odd question?? That is the work schedule of most every working American in the United States of America. You'll have to excuse the tone that I'm using, but you questioned me like it was something out of ordinary to go to work at 8am.

I guess I just expected a little more from them than just getting open ring tones?? I was calling all of Friday afternoon and started calling at 10am this morning. I will give them the benefit of the doubt simply because I am aware of too many happy customers vs. unhappy customers and because they make a killer product.

email usually takes WAY longer to reach them...

just wait a little later in the afternoon. My friend called them last week to order an sx 12, and they picked up on the first call. He called at about 3 ish

nothing's gonna happen. it's incredibly hard to get a response by email.

and most jobs are called a "9-5".

calm the hell down, this has been discussed a ton of times.
