Yea he shouldn't have cheated but she doesn't need all that money. That's the ridiculous part about this whole thing to me. It's just further sending out the message that if you want to be rich just marry someone rich. Way too many gold diggers out there these days. If she was upset about him cheating on her then she could have just divorced him. He doesn't "owe" her anything. If she wants his money then she should've stayed with him. She should give an extremely large portion of the money she gets to charity or something. Someone who actually needs it. She didn't earn that money, he did.

WEll I pretty much disagree with everything you said.. My Parents were happily married for 30 yrs, before a divorce, so Ive seen the good and the bad.. My dad makes good money ( about 300k/ yr ) and my mom wanted NOTHING, no child support , alimony , no nothing.. Im a believer in dealing with life and not leaching off people like bottom feeders, who are incapable of supporting themselves. I hate mooches and people who brown nose to get what they want, and this falls into that category. So as far as your comments go...

Actually, my mother cheated on my father and still ending up leaving with the house, because my dad is too nice of a guy to leave her *** on the street; although that's I should have done in his position, considering he was the breadwinner of the household. Nope. No offense to you, but you don't know what the hell you're talking about. "Their kids would live the rest of their lives knowing their dad is a piece of shit for a man"? My dad cheated on my mom and I have more respect for him as a person than I do anyone. He has a great job with the government and is stuck living with his ****ing mother right now because my mom stripped him of everything she could, while she lives in a 2 story house on the water.
Why? When you bond in marriage then everything obtained during the marriage belongs to both people. You are no longer and individual, you are one unit together. When business partners dissolve a relationship then they must divvy up any assets left from a venture. No different here. Just because she isn't the one throwing clubs, she is still a partner in the marriage and without a prenup, law dictates to an extent the percentage she gets.
Also Tiger was unfaithful. There are consequences for not holding up your end of an agreement. I shed no ****ing tear for him. He brought it upon himself. Blaming the woman is just plain retarded.
It is pretty simple to avoid giving *****es money if that is your goal in life.
- Stay poor
- Make sure you have one hell of a prenup agreement
- Don't get married

No the system is flawed my friend. It has helped turned marriage into a business and means of making money and getting citizenship. It's simply a means to an end now a days. You want money but not have to work? Marry rich and get divorced and take a persons hard earned money. It's not that I "feel sorry" for Tiger Woods because he's still going to be rich, I just don't think she deserves all that money for basically doing nothing. She married a famous athlete that's always on the road and loves to have a lot of *** apparently. She should have known about who she was marrying before she agreed to marry him. I highly doubt he was faithful before they got married. Same with women who date men who clearly have anger problems and then get surprised when he starts beating her after they get married. Marriage has turned into a joke basically and divorce is the punchline.

Everything you just said points to people being flawed, not the system. There is no system in existence that will work when stupid people are factored in. You say she should have known he was gonna cheat as if that is right. Tiger should have known that his playboy *** shouldn't get married and that his actions will wind up costing him in the future.
The system had nothing to do with either of the stupid parties involved. A marriage makes a unit, plain and simple. Assets obtained under that unit are owned by both parties despite what roles either has. If as a man of wealth and fame you can't see how marriage may not be for since you are a playboy, then you deserve to lose half that money.
