Oh I agree completely, it makes me sick home much women get in big D settlements. My point of contention is with lazy reporting. If the dude is worth X then the settlement can't be 125% of X, it's 50% tops and with that kind of money probably more like a 25% settlement.
She shouldn't get a thing, if she didn't want him to cheat she should of kept him satisfied lol

he had one i think.. but it was a certain amount.. The only reason I can see him giving her so much $$ is for some hush hush insurance... Stuff like this really gets me mad. All these wives of rich people wanting a ton of money after they get divorced. The marriage/divorce process in this country needs a complete do over. I mean when the divorce rate is 50% it's pretty obvious people aren't getting married for love.
You guys act like Tiger is void of any and all blame. Like she just one day woke up and decided to divorce him and take his money. This jackass should of never gotten married in the first place. What was it like 10-18 mistresses? Clearly the guy didn't love her. I can understand a moment of weakness and screwing up once, but with that many different women. That's just a little ridiculous. Dial down the testosterone for one second and use a little common sense. He had a prenup yet he's willingly giving all this money without any fight at all with the clause that she can't talk about their private lives or disclose any information about his affairs? I'm willing to bet there is ALOT more about Tiger that he doesn't want people to know. Like maybe all the HGH and steriod use that made him the star he is today? People can get over him cheating on his wife as long as he continues to be a kick *** golfer. But if people find out that he cheated on the golf course the entire TW brand will come crashing down.
And again, who says just because of this settlement its all going to be wiped away and gone? He's barely even halfway through his golf career and once he wins a few tournaments again he's going to be back on top and all those endorsements will come crawling back.
I never once said that ALL divorce settlements were fair. I think each are unique and some are deserving and some are not. What would make Elin deserving of a large settlement? If he gave her AIDS or another incurable STD would that make her deserving? Or if their kids have to live the rest of their lives knowing their dad was a piece of shit for a man, does that make them deserving? I don't know what kind of family life you've had but I grew up with 2 parents that love each other and after 35 years of marriage they still act like 2 kids that just started dating. If I ever found out my dad cheated on my mom I don't know how I'd look at him.
I'm willing to bet that if this happened to your mother, sister, or daughter you'd feel a little different.
