Hey all. I have a 2007 Dodge Charger (full system details listed below). All of the below equipment used to be in my Mustang. Now that I have the Charger (and was preparing to install again) I have been re-evaluating my system more.
I was looking at replacing the Headunit. The CD7100 is a great unit (IMO) but I have been wanting a double din unit (with NAV) for quite some time. Essentially, something at least close to the quality and features of the CD7100 that will work with my system below. Budget is, but it isn't an issue. I didn't want to spend $1,500 on a head unit. Maybe somewhere around $1,000-ish would be fine. I was looking for:
-Navigation (HD preferred, not on discs)
-DVD-R/MP3 (maybe divx - dont care about ipod)
-Bluetooth would be nice, but not required
I haven't been paying much attention to car audio for the past year or so. The units I have been looking at the most have been Alpine IVA-W505, Kenwood DNX8120, Eclipse AVN6620. I am most worried about the sound quality and audio controls, but tha Navigation is a big part as well. I used to have the Avic-N1 and hated Pioneer's NAV. Yes, I have done several searches on these products so I know some about them. Any feedback is appreciated.
