Replaced with LED, now blinks faster. Help?

I have an 02 Ford F250 and recently replaced my stock signals with LEDs. Now they blink really fast. The whole point was to have brighter lights that use less power. How can I fix this so that they flash at the stock flash rate?

resistor is needed. They usually make kits or you can just get the resistor you need and install it yourself. Had this problem with a CBR600RR
