Actually they have kits now that you can use that sands off the old finish on the cd and makes it work again...there pretty cheap you can get them at music stores and some audio shops.

SIMPLY TAKE A BUFFER WITH SOME GREEN WAX AND BUFF THE **** OUT OF IT, IT WORKS AND SAVED ME THOUSANDS..........TRY IT.

I wouldn't use a buffer, buy a kit in the store they don't cost "thousands".
